Masa Israel Grants and Scholarships

Masa Israel Journey offers generous grants and scholarships to help make your experience in Israel more affordable. Whether you're joining a gap year, academic program, internship, volunteer placement, or career development experience, funding is available to support your journey.

Universal Grant

Every eligible participant automatically receives a Masa grant – no separate application required. The amount depends on your age, program length, country of origin, and the type of program you choose.

Needs-Based Scholarships

In addition to the universal grant, you may qualify for a needs-based scholarship to further reduce your program costs. These scholarships are awarded based on financial need, and supporting documents will be required as part of the application process.

Eligibility

Masa funding is available to Jewish young adults (ages 16–35) who have not previously received Masa funding and who have not lived in Israel for more than four consecutive months since the age of 12. Eligibility may also depend on your country of citizenship.

How to Apply

Once you apply to a Masa Israel program, you’ll be prompted to complete your grant and scholarship application within your personal Masa profile. It's a quick and straightforward process, and support is available if you need help.
