Birthright Classic. Discover Israel
A fully funded 10-day journey through Israel for young Jewish Australians aged 18–26.
Birthright Classic is an unforgettable opportunity to experience Israel for the first time alongside other young Australians.
Over 10 incredible days, you will travel across the country, from the mountains of the Galilee to the streets of Jerusalem and the beaches of Tel Aviv. Along the way you will explore Israel’s landscapes, history and culture while building connections with fellow participants and Israeli peers.
It is a journey that blends adventure, discovery and community. Think desert sunrises, vibrant markets, meaningful conversations, unforgettable nightlife and moments that bring Israel’s story to life.
Flights, accommodation, experiences and on-ground support are all included, making it easy to focus on the experience.
Many participants arrive knowing just a few people, or no one at all, and leave with lifelong friendships and a deeper connection to Israel and the global Jewish community.

Flights & Travel – Important Information

Birthright Classic flights are group flights arranged and funded as part of the program.
You CAN:
• Extend your return flight from Israel back to Australia (fees apply)
You CANNOT:
• Change the outbound flight from Australia to Israel
• Change or split only one leg of the outbound journey
• Return via Europe or another destination• Reroute the return flight to a non-Australian destination
All flights must originate in Australia and return to your departure city in Australia.
Safety & Support
Your safety comes first.
Trip itineraries are approved daily by the Situation Monitoring Room, administered by the Society for the Protection of Nature, in coordination with:
• Israeli security forces
• IDF
• Police
• Local authorities
Programs are adjusted in real time to ensure participant safety at all times.

Day 1–2 | Welcome Home Fly to Israel, meet your group, explore Israel’s northern landscapes, visit the Sea of Galilee, and ease into the experience together.
Day 3–4 | North to Golan Hike Israel’s mountain ranges, explore the art and spirituality of Tzfat, raft the Jordan River, and relax in hot springs.
Day 5–6 | Jerusalem Old City and Southern Wall excavations, bustling shuks, Shabbat in Jerusalem, and time to explore food, culture, and nightlife.
Day 7 | Remember & Reflect Visit Yad Vashem and Mt Herzl, meet Israeli peers, and engage in meaningful conversations about modern Israel.
Day 8 | Desert & Dead Sea Masada sunrise, Ein Gedi oasis, float in the Dead Sea, camel ride, Bedouin dinner, and campfire experience.
Day 9–10 | Tel Aviv Startup Nation insights, beaches, markets, nightlife, reflection, farewell, and next-step conversations.
