About the program
Masa has partnered with Magen David Adom to offer a meaningful volunteer opportunity for those eager to gain hands-on experience in emergency medical care while working alongside Israeli professionals. Participants begin the program with an intensive eight-day first responders’ course, followed by volunteer shifts on ambulances throughout Israel.
This immersive program equips you with the practical skills and knowledge needed to respond to real-life emergencies and provide vital care when it matters most. Beyond the training, you’ll experience Israeli life up close—its people, culture, and resilience. In the wake of October 7th, the need for dedicated volunteers is greater than ever. Your presence and support can truly make a difference.
About
Personal Connection
Volunteering in Israel after October 7th carries powerful meaning. It’s an opportunity to stand with the people of Israel during a time of immense challenge and contribute to the country’s recovery and resilience. In just four weeks, you can make a lasting impact—supporting soldiers, communities, and individuals who need it most.
First Responders Certification
Learn from experienced professionals and expert instructors committed to your growth. Through hands-on training, simulations, and real-life ambulance shifts, you’ll gain practical emergency response skills. Upon completing the course, you’ll be certified as a first responder.
Living Essentials
Participants live in fully furnished apartments in Haifa, Be’er Sheva, or Netanya. The program also includes a monthly unlimited bus pass and basic health insurance for non-pre-existing conditions.
